Enhancements

New Compliance Setting (10492)

In response to regulatory changes, the following adjustments have been made to balanceAAP: 

  • When creating new plans, a user may now choose from one of the following three Compliance Type settings:
    • EO11246 - Traditional AAP
    • Non-Discrimination - Workforce Analytics & Assessment Services 
    • 503/VEVRAA – Individuals with Disabilities and Protected Veterans plan
  • The default plan name will now be dynamic based on the compliance type setting chosen. For example, plans created under Non-Discrimination or 503/VEVRAA will have Annual Non-Discrimination Plan in the name and all others will remain unchanged.
  • If the compliance type is changed in bAAP, after a plan has been published to BCP, the changes will appear immediately in BCP.

Report Changes for Compliance Type Setting (10449)

The following bAAP report changes have been made for all non-EO11246 plans:

  • Global Report Changes
    • Beginning February 6, 2025, all protected classes, except Total Minorities, will be selected by default. 
  • Individual Report Changes
    • Incumbency vs Estimated Availability
      • The Highlight Problem Areas and Include Shortfall have been hidden from Report Settings and deactivated. 
    • Placement Goal row has been hidden entirely.
      • Hide footnote and job group level label for Underutilization Rules and asterisks for Rule of Nines
      • Hide Asterisks in cells
    • Adverse Impact Reports
      • The Total Minorities vs Whites section/data has been hidden for all reports.
    • Compensation Reports 
      • The Total Minorities vs Whites section/data has been hidden for all reports 
    • Availability Factor Computation Form 
      • Report language have been updated and all references to "minorities and women" has been replaced with "individuals".
  • Reports Hidden
    • Minorities and Women narrative
    • Placement Goals
    • Goal Attainment
    • Shortfall
    • Department Analysis
    • Workforce Analysis
    • Organizational Display
    • Supervisor by Department
    • Annotated Employee List
    • Annotated Employee List by Department
    • Checklists including History Source Roster
    • Personnel Action Summary except for
    • Applicant Summary by Disposition Code
    • Competitive Promotion Summary by Disposition Code
    • Hiring Analysis Summary by Disposition Code

      • Competitive Promotion Summary by Disposition Code
      • Competitive Promotion Summary by Disposition Code by Job Group
      • Hiring Analysis Summary by Disposition Code by Job Group
      • Hiring Analysis Summary by Disposition Code
      • Termination Summary by Termination Code
      • Add Personnel Transactions Summary report

 

Corrections

Changing Protected Classes (10487)

Correction of a reported issue where updates to the Protected Class options in bAAP where not being correctly reflected in the corresponding BCP plan. 

Salary Service Permission (10563)

Correction of a reported issue where the Salary option was not appearing in the Create New User set up pages.
