Set an Order of Precedence for Personnel Actions

Accessed at System Tools > General / Personnel Action Order, this administrative tool sequences personnel actions (e.g., New Hire, Promotion, Transfer, Termination) for certain plan analyses, when multiple transactions occur for an employee on the same day. A default order will already be in place, but an Administrator can reorganize and save a custom sequence.

About the Personnel Action Order

The Personnel Action Order will come into play when the File Consistency scan and Start Point analysis are performed, and the occurrence of an employee with multiple transactions on the same date is found. The default sequence will be sufficient for most software accounts.

However, the custom prioritizing of personnel actions may be beneficial when additional User Defined Personnel Actions have been saved to balanceAAP or to accommodate unique personnel action processes.

Reorder Personnel Actions and Apply a Custom Order

On entry, you will be presented with a drag-and-drop list. Click a particular personnel action bar, and move it up or down, as desired.

Revert to the Default Order

At any time, simply press the [Revert to Default] button, located above the drag-and-drop list, to return the Personnel Action Order to the system's default.
