Overview

The Compliance Checklist tracks tasks and due dates along with helpful information so your company will know what is required and when it is due to maintain compliance. Every calendar year, a new annual checklist will be added to your account with the most recent list of compliance related tasks.

Page Layout

The Compliance Checklist layout will show yearly totals at the top, and the individual tasks at the bottom will be labeled and grouped as Regulatory Tasks (Federal and State) and Proactive Initiatives.

The top-level counter tiles will provide the counts for all Regulatory Tasks (total, completed, and pending) per calendar year, along with the number of outstanding Proactive Items. The last tile, Past Due Items, will provide the total number of items that have not been marked as completed or not applicable for all years by the listed task date.

The following information fields will appear on most, if not all, items to assist you in your management of the Compliance Checklist.

  • A date field will appear, when applicable, to reference a task's required submission date or the date by which it is recommended to be completed.
  • A tooltip that will display additional information about the checklist task.
  • An option to change the individual task's applicable or not applicable entry status.

The Plan Date for the company will appear in the top right corner of the page and is used to set the recommended completion date for the Section 503 and VEVRAA Non-Discrimination plans. This date needs to be set and confirmed the first time you open the Compliance Checklist.

Functionality

As each item is addressed, the list will adjust to reflect the selected action.

Completed

Tasks are marked as completed through the check box that appears on the left side of each section.

Not Applicable

If a task does not apply to your company, the option to mark an entry as not applicable is on the far right side. Additionally, a gray icon will be next to the task entry that reads [Task Not Applicable].

Past Due

Tasks that are past their listed due date will be automatically marked as past due. These entries will also show a red icon that reads [Past Due] to the right of the task entry.
